The same as ruby -v. I get "ruby 1.8.6 (2007-03-13 patchlevel 0) 
[i686-darwin8.9.1]". How do I know what version of 1.8.6 I have? At 
ruby-lang.org I see that they mention "Please upgrade to 1.8.5-p231". 
How do I check that?
