thanks - i looked at that but couldn't see how to only get distinct 
subsets, ie to not get [1,2,3], [1,3,2], [3,1,2] etc in the same result 
set.  I was probably being a bit dumb though...i had just got back from 
glastonbury when i was having a go :)
