Subject: Visual Studio "marcro" or "expert" in Ruby?

Anyone working with manipulating text in Visual Studio VC++?
I'm wondering because I'd like to come up with a code generator
to produce the boiler plate required when doing properties in
VC++ classes(all that __declspec and Get_ Set_ stuff) and
am looking for an alternative to VBScript.  The Ruby pattern
matching capabilities hint that the actual text generation
should be pretty easy if I can hook into the editor.
