You can do this:

n1, n2, n3, n4 = nil

But you can't do this:

n1, n2, n3, n4 = [something]

And you can't do this:

n1, n2, n3, n4  [+,-,*, etc]= [something]

I really wish you could.  I would make some of my
code so much more simple and concise.

Make the software work more for the user, and not the other
way around.
