Dave, thanks very much. Simple Markup and RDoc are exciting tools! I've noticed that with strings like "cat_and_dog", Simple Markup applies the emphasis attribute to the middle part ("and"). I was expecting word markup to apply _around_ words (or identifiers) but not within them. Instead I have to type it like "cat\_and\_dog" to avoid getting italics. Is this the way it's supposed to work? Since we can still always get emphasis inside the string with general markup ... assert_equals(["cat", @em_on, "and", @em_off, "dog"], @am.flow("catanddog")) .... I would prefer something like the following: assert_equals(["cat_and_dog"], @am.flow("cat_and_dog")) I'm curious if others agree with this. - Jim
