Subject: [ruby-talk:30066] Build question: options for configure?

I'm going to be helping someone build/install Ruby 1.6.6 on Solaris and 
she doesn't have root access so the plan is to install Ruby in her home 
directory instead of the default installation, so we want Ruby and all of 
it's libs to be in a directory on /home like:
/home/ptkwt/ruby-1.6.6

instead of at /usr/local/lib

Are there any options to the configure script to do this or do we just 
have to edit the resulting Makefile?
