This is how Smalltalk handles the conversion of the only instance of UndefinedObect, nil. In fact, I am starting to get acquainted with Ruby. And I would like to know 'nil' is handled like 'null' in Java, or it has a class associated (just like Smalltalk UndefinedObject) which does not allow the creation of other instances? Regards, Adriano.
