Subject: [ruby-talk:29933] Ruby News Proxy?

I'm a Ruby Newbie as it were and am just now getting really interested in
the language. I'm interested in creating a simple usenet proxy (NTTP).
From what I have seen of Ruby so far it looks like it would excell at that
task. Would anyone like to point me in the right direction? Or discourage me
if need be :)
