Subject: [ruby-talk:29769] HOWTO compile MySQL/Ruby under Cygwin

I know this is becoming the thread that will not die, but hopefully at the end
of it we'll have a more complete HOWTO.

I've tried following Michael's HOWTO to the letter, and still no luck. This
time, what happens is that I get to the point of making mysql-ruby, and make
fails. The error msg is below. I believe the problem is that I have no
libmysql.dll -- does this mean the mysql build itself failed? (It seemed to
install just fine...)
