Subject: rubytorrent, interrogate

does anyone know if rubytorrent can be used to interrogate a torrent ? 
(get the peers and the filesize for example)

I have looked but I cant see a way to get that info without downloading 
rubytorrent downloading the file(s)

any help appreciated
