I have too, and it drives me crazy when my mongrel instances eat up 
600MB of memory.
I'd be willing to offer a bounty of $150 to anyone able to clear this 
up.  It happens especially often when you run multiple threads, it 
seems.
Probably a rails thing, but anyway.
