Subject: [ruby-talk:29648] Ruby 1.6.6 on MacOSX10.1.2

I have compiled and installed 1.6.6 on MacOSX10.1.2
using the December developer tools. And it works!
I did have to become superuser for a moment to do this:
make install

But I have one question, Ruby only runs when
I say
/usr/local/bin/ruby
at the % prompt

and I want to make it short instead, and just say
%ruby

Maybe this is not a Ruby question, but a
Unix question. Can someone tell me how to make
the system search for Ruby executable in /usr/local/bin ?
