Subject: Slide Show (S9) v0.3 - A Free Web Alternative to PowerPoint and KeyNote in Ruby

Hello,

  I've published an update to Slide Show (S9) - a Ruby gem that lets
you create slide shows and author slides in plain text using a
wiki-style markup language that's easy-to-write and easy-to-read.

  What's new? You can now author your slides in Markdown.

  You can find two samples online in Markdown:

  And the matching slide shows are online at:

  Note, Slide Show (S9) is now also compatible with the Opera Show
Format and, thus, works with the Opera browser without requiring any
plugins (it's all built-in - just press F11 to get started and page
up/down to flip through the slide show).

   Finally, if anyone is interested in Microformats for slide shows
(e.g. hSlide, hShow or similar) I invite you to join the conversation
