Interesting. . . Could one then create an autovivifying-style
hash-of-hashes(-of-hashes...) with something like:

  $avHash = proc {|h, c| h[c] = Hash.new(&$avHash) }
  h = Hash.new(&$avHash)


. . . kewl!!  =-D

(This ought to work, right? ?)
