val_I_will_use_for_destructive_actions = nil

opts = OptionParser.new do |opts|
  opts.on('--long_option') do |val|
    val_I_will_use_for_destructive_actions = '--long_option'
  end
end

opts.parse!

if val_I_will_use_for_destructive_actions
