This is what I use with 'maildrop'

if ( /^X-ML-Name:.*ruby-talk/:h )
{
  xfilter "sed 's/^Subject: \[ruby-talk:[0-9]*\]\(.*\)$/Subject:\1/'"
  to "$MAILDIR/Lists/ruby-talk"
}
