So with David Black's suggestion of bringing more women into the Ruby 
community in mind: 
we should keep our posts civil and helpful (actually that should help with 
reaching out to both genders :).  I think for the most part because of the 
size of the Ruby community and the fact that we're mostly all relatively 
newbies that there are not a lot of 'RTFM' posts (fortuneatly) especially 
compared to what you will encounter on the Perl newsgroups.
