It was like just changing a return type, or something. Now look at configure telling you smart stuff) % make (yeah, rock on baby, and look at make telling you loads of funny things) (still no shadow of any kind of error, so far so good) % sudo make install (enter the super secret administrator password, and watch ruby get installed) % ruby -v -> ruby 1.7.2 (2001-12-18) [powerpc-darwin5.1] Absolutely no problemo. Now if it is still not working on your side I would also get pretty frustrated because: 1. My configuration has something making all this working and I don't know precisely in what way. Or your configuration has something making all this not working, and we don't know precisely in what way. 2.
