Check out the "find" extension in the standard library.

  ri Find#find
-------------------------------------------------------------- Find#find
      find(*paths) {|path| ...}
------------------------------------------------------------------------
      Calls the associated block with the name of every file and
      directory listed as arguments, then recursively on their
      subdirectories, and so on.
