Subject: [ruby-talk:28734] getting started with MinGW

Hi,
 I'd like to be able to compile Ruby on my NT4 box using MinGW. I found
ruby-talk:22083, but ( excuse my ignorance ) I can't find
a shell in MinGW where I could run configure from. I haven't
located any relevant documentation.  Help?
