First impression: hey, it fits in my laptop bag! Second impression: really bad editing, seems like every second or third page has some minor problem. But I didn't feel like filling A4 sheets... Third impression: good content, clearly presented. Especially nice are the library classes that were not (AFAIK) documented in one place before: IMAP, curses, pty, Readline, Queue, Matrix, md5... And, hey, who knew you could unbind and rebind a method? In the long run, I'll keep both this and the trusty Pickaxe around for reference, until someone writes a book with no gaps (ha!). -- Joel VanderWerf California PATH, UC Berkeley mailto:vjoel@path.berkeley.edu Ph.
