I recently checked out SWIG on windows. I had sort of the same problem. Solution: I downloaded the Ruby source and built it. That created the dll an lib file you are requesting. It wasn't entirely obvious how to do it. But it's simple enough: Go to the Win32 subdirectory. Then execute nmake from the commandline. A while later you've got fresh copy of a ruby.dll MikkelFJ
