I've had this problem with REXML, as well.  It seems that the one function 
you never use and perhaps even think might be unneccessary is exactly that 
function without which many people can't use your product.  Initially, I 
planned on ignoring stream processing; *I* never use it, and I even think 
it is a bit silly.

I'm watching XSLT4R.  Keep up the good work!
