Subject: [ruby-talk:28621] A question about Ruby versions

Hi,

I feel uneducated for not knowing this, but I'd like to get some 
clarification on the Ruby versions.  Specifically, I have two questions.  
The first is whether the Ruby version numbers are similar to the Linux 
kernel; that is, I'm guessing that even minor versions are stable releases 
and odd are developer releases.  Is this true?  My second question is 
whether Matz has given a timetable for when the next stable release is due 
out.
