(i dont want to install windows, to be > honest) While I detest developing on Windows, when that is the target platform, that is what I use to develop it, using Visual Studio C/C++ and (gulp) Basic, or just a plain editor and command line for Java. I (thankfully) don't do enough of it to warrant fooling with the cross-compiling stuff available. I just don't have the time to deal with all the little "gotcha's". I haven't done any Ruby stuff at all on Windows. I'm sure others on this list will have better answers, more in line with what you want, than I. > > regards, > > nick > > -- > Prof: So the American government went to IBM to come up with a data > encryption standard and they came up with ... > Student: EBCDIC!" > -- Daniel P.
