It really should work.  Note that path and file names are probably
case-sensitive, though.  You can try to use Dir.glob to list the
contents of the directory :

>> Dir.glob('/home/fred/*.rb')
=> ["/home/fred/toto.rb", "/home/fred/main.rb"]
