Actually there has been an ongoing survey at: http://dev.rubycentral.com/survey.html This is referred to in the comp.lang.ruby Newsgroup FAQ (which Hal has kindly taken over, thankyou). Each response gets emailed to me, and I've probably got somewhere between 100 and 200 survey results. (After changing computers and OS, I hadn't looked at the survey collection account, but I just got things reconfigured and retrieved the most recent 92 results that my ISP has been patiently collecting in the mean time. I have the earlier results saved safely away--somewhere.) I'd be happy to sent these to someone who would like to analyze them. (Maybe Pragmatic Dave has a shadow archive, since he posted a preliminary tabulation of results many months ago.) Also, would someone else like to receive the results? I just volunteered to do it as a temporary expedient, and would really like to hand this off to someone else. Conrad
