 If you don't change what do ruby by default, it don't exist a difference,

 This is for 1.6.5 *but* if you look at ruby-1.7.2 you'll see that it exist
 a difference
   #include call #append_features *and* #included
   #extend  call #extend_object

 i.e. even if #extend make something similar to #include, #included don't
 seems called with #extend
