From: Martin Stannard Date: 2001-12-11T22:57:33+09:00 Subject: [ruby-talk:28216] Ruby and IIS Hi all, I'd like to get Ruby running on IIS ( I'd prefer apache actually, but work uses IIS so I haven't much choice). I've found a couple of earlier posts where people indicated they'd managed to use ruby by mapping the .rb extension to wherever ruby is installed but they didn't give the exact details of how this is achieved. I tried to get the network guy at work to do this but he wasn't able to figure out how to do this mapping. There's a configuration option for associating file extensions with mime types in IIS but we couldn't work out how to give Ruby a mime type or if this is actually the best way to go about it.
