I'd say it must be 'as needed' basis unless someone comes up with some
money. ;-)

To start with maybe someone can list the Perl/Python modules they really
think are good and would like to see in Ruby? What are their main benefits
and strengths? For us non-Perl/Python users out here... Maybe we would
need them if we knew them? ;-)

Seriously if we could make a top list of the most wanted, say top 10,
Perl/Python modules that Ruby are missing I'd think they would get done in
no time. I mean its not a major issue porting and Rubyfying a
small-to-medium-size piece of code, eh?
