Subject: [ruby-talk:27608] ibase.h needed to compile Interbase driver

I am trying to compile the ruby Interbase module, but failing.
I have followed the instructions in a previous thread titled "interbase driver"
In it, matz suggests the following:

ruby extconf.rb
make
make install

but when I tried the second command (make), I got the following error:

interbase.c:24: ibase.h: No such file or directory
make: *** [interbase.o] Error 1

Can you please help me determining where is ibase.h

About my current settings:
* MS-Win 2000
* ruby 1.6.3 (2001-03-19) [i386-cygwin]
* I also have installed the cyqwin tools from RedHat
