They are on their own personal box (i.e. probably Linux or *BSD) and installed Ruby from source, therefore they have enough of a clue to be able to figure out how to symlink. 2. They are on a Big Box, therefore they have an admin, who will have enough of a clue to be able to figure out how to symlink, or to instruct the user how to run the script by passing its filename as an argument to the interpreter.
