I am talking about projects that are part of the GNU project. There is a specific coding style and convention associated with being part of the GNU project. You can find out more here: http://www.gnu.org/prep/standards_toc.html Also, I am not a fundamentalist. I believe that people have the right to decide on which license that they wish to distribute their software under. What I AM a fundamentalist about is people being treated with respect. That was my issue. > Projects are licensed, so neither SouceForge nor Savannah cannot do > anything except stopping to host them. > This is true, but what about those projects whose developers can afford no other home than SourceForge? It would be unfortunate to see good projects get taken down simply because they are "unmarketable". > I think that the good option will be to make foundry on both to give the > choice to projects maintainer. > No need to say that i will not move my ruby related projects to savannah > only for a foundry question (that will not be a lack :). > > mips > > PS: > The vote for a french ruby related newsgroup has been released and the > result is _NO_ due to a low number of 'YES' of vote, are we so few ? > I would be interested in that, if just to practice my French :) -- 0100001101000010010000110100011101110101 << Tobias DiPasquale >> -=[ Solaris Systems Administrator ]=- Villanova University ECE Dept. mailto: anany@ece.vill.edu -=[ Applications Engineering Consultant ]=- BCS Solutions, Inc. mailto: tdipasquale@bcssinc.com 0100001101000010010000110100011101110101
