AI has been the crucial software issue since the 1960s, and will
probably
still be long after I am dead. There has been little progress in all
these
years and what bits of AI research actually worked ended up as Computer
Science projects.

There is still a long way to go.

But that is besides the point, your Mind project has been going for
longer that XP and unlike XP has yet to produce any code. Show us the
code, if you can't get it to run in Ada or C or C++ or Forth or Java or
JavaScript or Lisp or Perl or Prolog or Python or Scheme or Smalltalk
or Visual Basic then quite frankly Ruby has nothing to offer you.

They are all perfectly good languages and Ruby is not magic. You
have made no progress with those, you will make no progress with
Ruby or .NET or Curl or whatever bandwagon you next jump on.

Argh.
