All I want for Christmas is Ruby 1.8...
There's not much of 'this year' left to release in -- from reading the
slides from RubyConf, I thought 1.8 would be out by now.  Oh
well.  Multiple, thread-safe interpreters are still part of the 1.8 plan,
or am I foolishly optimistic?
