Good to see SciTE included in your distribution. One small point on the included ruby.properties file. The primitive conditional feature within SciTE properties files uses indentation to indicate the lines subordinate to the condition, in a similar manner to Python. So there is no effect to the condition in if PLAT_GTK command.go.*.rb=ruby $(FileNameExt) This doesn't cause any effect because the command.go value for GTK/X/Linux is the same as for Windows but it is best to have the conditions there in case properties files are swapped and merged between platforms. If I was writing an installer that knows where the ProgrammingRuby.chm file is located and modifies the ruby.properties file to point to it, I'd also be tempted to point the go command at the particular copy of Ruby being installed for those people who have multiple versions installed. You could also consider using relative paths command.help.*.rb=$(CurrentWord)!$(SciteDefaultHome)\..\ProgrammingRuby.chm Neil
