From: "James Britt (rubydev)" Date: 2001-12-03T02:39:41+09:00 Subject: [ruby-talk:27285] Re: OO AI On a related tangent: can RAA entries be listed in more than one section, or is there a way to indicate that an entry belongs to more than one category? On rubyxml.com I have a list of XML-related RAA items. I get the details by making an XML-RPC call: infoArr = raa.getInfoFromCategory( "Library", "XML" ) which gets *almost* everything. Sean Russell's "API2XML" is listed under "Util", but it's also an XML application. Requests (in no particular order) Move API2XML to the XML Library section or Copy API2XML to the XML Library section I can see a problem with having entries appear multiple times under different categories, but right now you have to know aprioro what category something has been assigned to in order to go look for it. Doing this by hand is not bad, since the RAA list is (relativly) small, but as RAA grows, it will get harder to search for items unless you already know something about them. So, I can get the API2XML entry with an additional XML-RPC call: infoArr.push(raa.getInfoFromName("API2XML")) but seems to require too much up-front knowledge for a general-purpose "fetch all XML-related items" routine.
