In Ruby/DBI 0.0.4 there was a Sybase (FreeTDS - works with MS-SQL) driver for 
Ruby/DBI but it there was no further development on it.

If there would be a FreeTDS library for Ruby, I could write a DBD for
it, but I guess there isn't.

But what's wrong with ODBC?
