Python is a fine language, and were it not for Ruby it would be my favorite,
easily. However, Ruby has shown me deficiencies in Python's basic design,
like not being pure OO. Python to me now feels like a cleaner version of
Perl with OO on top. It's fast, yes, but every time I've had to touch some
Python code, I get confused and frustrated. I don't even have to think about
what I'm doing with Ruby, it just flows from my fingers.
