Google, as far as I know, only archieves and provides http interface to comp.lang.ruby. Google Groups provides http interface to many Usenet newsgroups. So, that's not anything specific to comp.lang.ruby. You seem to be accessing this newsgroup via Google Groups. Many people, use a news reader and access it via NNTP. You would need to setup your news reader (Outlook Express on Windows, or Mozilla Thunderbird on Linux, for example) to access this news group this way. > Where is the official place for Ruby Talk? http://blade.nagaokaut.ac.jp/ archieves Ruby Talk: http://blade.nagaokaut.ac.jp/ruby/ruby-talk/index.shtml and other lists like ruby-dev. To acess Ruby Talk or other mailing lists, you would need to subscribe by sending an e-mail to ruby-lang.org (mailto:ruby-talk-ctl@ruby-lang.org?subject=subscribe&body=subscribe%20YourFirstName%20YourFamilyName) .
