Subject: Thread interruptable too early?

Hmm. Question.

Imagine you've got this code:
a = Thread.new {
 begin
# do stuff
 rescue MyException
 end
}
a.raise MyException.new

Is it possible that this will still result in an uncaught exception
within thread a? Thoughts?
