If you're dicking around with expect you have the
password  in plain text somewhere along the line, so you'd be lucky to
avoid frowns even then :)

;Use RSA authentication - a blank passphrase on the key (for cronjobs), or
use ssh-agent (for everything else - unit testing etc).
