I am really looking forward to seeing some ingenious solutions to this 
problem.  The concept seemed very simple to me but my first attempt kept 
becoming mired down in edge cases.  I hope everyone has a good weekend 
and a good Labor Day weekend to those in the US (plenty of time to work 
on this weeks quiz ;)
