Subject: [ruby-talk:26576] [GTK] No refresh until mouse on window

In the following example, some text is inserted in a Gtk::Text widget
from outside.  However, the widget content is not refreshed until the
mouse pointer passes on its window.  Is there any way to force instant
refresh?
