What about either:

class Connection < Net::Http
   def self.create(addr, port, paddr, pport)
       Proxy(paddr, pport).new(addr, port)
  end
end

or

class Connection
  def self.create(..)
     Net::Http.Proxy(...).new(...)
  end
end

use:

Connection.create(...)

(not tested though)
