Subject: Interesting research for Ruby implementors

I just discovered this paper today:

"Data Layouts for Object-Oriented Programs".

Interesting reading for those of you who are implementing Ruby -- I'd
think the jRuby team would be especially interested, since most of the
results were with IBM's Java Virtual Machine.
