Well, AFAIK, this is part of the reason that some articles said that in
Ruby "methods aren't objects".

Now, I'm not sure exactly what you want, but on the approach that
requires the least preprocessing is to mearly pass in symbols, and do
the processing on the inside, or using "send" directly.

Ruby Method objects seem to comprise both an instance and the method.
I.e. the way to pass methods if you want to delay the selection of the
object, is to just work with symbols.
