Subject: month and day

Assuming that to day it January 1 2007 when the
following code is and the response is 1.  Is there a
way to get back 01?  I�m also looking to get 01 for
the day.  It looks like %m and %d is what I�m looking
for but I don�t know how to implement the formatting.

t = Time.now
puts t.mon
=> 1
