As far as I can tell, it is only used to trigger GC'ing when new memory is allocated beyond that limit, which is 8Mb. That wouldn't account for eating up 32 Mb. Are there anything I have to keep in mind if I lower the limit? My PDA has only 8 Mb total, but I'm not sure if the defines for MSDOS (200Kb limit) are fitting, so I have no idea what would be a good limit. -- <[ Kent Dahl ]>================<[ http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~kentda/ ]> )____(stud.techn.;ind.k.data)||(softwareDeveloper.at(Trustix))_( /"Opinions expressed are mine and not those of my Employer, "\ ( "the University, my girlfriend, stray cats, banana fruitflies, " ) \"nor the frontal lobe of my left cerebral hemisphere.
