ok, mebbe i'm just plain stupid.

i have an existing site or two with static html that i want to move over =
to a redcloth-supported site, so my annoying clients can maintain their =
own content on their oft-changing pages.

surely someone somewhere has written an html->redcloth conversion =
method?  no doubt it's in class RedCloth and called something esoteric =
like new_from_html or something, but i'll be blitzed if i can find it.

any suggestions? =3D)  thanks...mike
